XM TradingView 2026 — Built-in Charts in XM Platform + How to Connect XM to TradingView.com & Trade Directly

Two different things traders search for — both answered. XM now has TradingView charts built-in to its platform. And yes, you can also connect XM to TradingView.com and place trades directly from there.

Two different things — both covered here:
(1) XM Unified Platform with TradingView charts — XM launched this in September 2025. TradingView charts are now built directly into the XM web and mobile trading platform.
(2) Connecting XM to TradingView.com — XM is listed in TradingView's broker panel. You can link your XM account to TradingView.com and place trades there using XM's execution.
Most guides confuse these two. We explain both clearly.

01 — Two OptionsXM + TradingView: Two Different Ways to Use Them Together

Option A — XM's Platform
TradingView Charts Built into XM
  • Access via XM web platform or app
  • TradingView charts embedded natively
  • No separate TradingView account needed
  • Execute trades within XM's interface
  • Includes simplified + advanced chart modes
  • Available on web and mobile
  • Free with any XM account
Option B — TradingView.com
Connect XM to TradingView Website
  • Access via TradingView.com
  • XM listed in the broker panel
  • Requires a TradingView account (free plan works)
  • Execute trades directly from TradingView charts
  • Full TradingView feature set + community scripts
  • More indicators and drawing tools on paid plans
  • Free (paid TV plans unlock more features)
Which should you use? Option A (XM's built-in platform) is easier — no separate account needed, everything in one place. Option B (TradingView.com) is better if you already use TradingView for analysis, want access to community Pine Script indicators, or want to manage multiple brokers in one interface. Many traders use both.

02 — XM PlatformXM Unified Platform with TradingView Charts — What's Included

In September 2025, XM launched a completely redesigned unified trading platform with TradingView charts at its core. The multi-regulated broker integrated TradingView charts directly into XM traders' accounts, with both simplified and advanced versions available, including smart drawing features and technical indicators.

The new interface allows traders to stay informed, analyse, plan, and act fast — with the ability to fund and withdraw, chat with support, view live education, and access everything XM offers in one place.

Features Available in XM's Built-in TradingView Charts

✅ Advanced technical indicators ✅ Smart drawing tools ✅ Simplified + advanced chart modes ✅ Direct trade execution from chart ✅ Web + mobile (same experience) ✅ Real-time XM price feed ✅ Deposit/withdrawal from same screen ✅ Live education access in-platform ✅ XM AI product integrated ⚠️ Community scripts — limited vs TV.com ❌ Pine Script editor — use TV.com instead ❌ Multi-chart layouts — use TV.com instead

How to Access XM's TradingView Platform

1

Login to Members Area at my.xm.com

Use your email and Members Area password. Once logged in, look for the Trade Now or Platform button to access the unified trading interface.

2

Open the XM unified web platform

The new platform loads in your browser. TradingView charts are displayed by default — no separate setup needed. Your account balance, open positions, and order history are visible alongside the charts.

3

Choose simplified or advanced chart mode

XM offers two chart modes: Simplified (clean interface for beginners, core indicators) and Advanced (full TradingView charting with smart drawing tools, 100+ indicators). Toggle between modes in the chart settings.

4

Place trades directly from the chart

Click any instrument → a trade ticket opens in the same interface. Set lot size, stop loss, take profit → click Buy or Sell. No platform switching needed. Positions appear on the chart as horizontal lines immediately after execution.

03 — TradingView.comHow to Connect XM Account to TradingView.com — Step-by-Step

This is the second option — connecting your existing XM account to the TradingView website to trade from there using XM's execution.

1

Create a free TradingView.com account

Go to tradingview.com and sign up for a free account. A free plan is sufficient to connect a broker account and place trades. Paid plans (Essential, Plus, Premium) add more indicators and chart layouts but are not required for XM connectivity.

2

Open a chart and find the Trading Panel

Open any chart on TradingView.com. Look for the Trading Panel button at the bottom of the screen (it may say "Trade" or show a broker icon). Click it to expand the broker connection panel.

3

Search for XM in the broker list and click Connect

In the Trading Panel, search for XM in the list of available brokers. XM appears in TradingView's broker list — click on it to select it, then click Connect. If you are not yet logged into your XM account, you will be prompted to sign in.

4

Enter your XM trading credentials

Enter your XM account details: account number (8-digit number from welcome email), trading password (from welcome email — not Members Area password), and server (XMGlobal-Real 1). Click Connect to authorize.

⚠️ Use your trading password, not your Members Area login password. These are different. If you're unsure, find your trading password in Members Area → Account Management, or reset it there.
5

Trade directly from TradingView charts

Your XM account balance and open positions appear in the Trading Panel. You can now place market orders, pending orders, set stop losses and take profits directly from TradingView charts. The trades execute on XM's servers using your XM account spreads and conditions.

✅ Your account, trades, and positions are the same whether you use TradingView.com, XM's built-in platform, or MT4/MT5 — all connect to the same XM trading account.

💡 Recommendation: Use both, for different purposes

TradingView for: chart analysis, finding trade setups, using community indicators, reading news and economic calendar, sharing trade ideas, mobile-first trading.

MT4/MT5 for: running Expert Advisors, using XM Free VPS, automated strategy execution, institutional-style order management, 24/5 uninterrupted operation.

You can use TradingView to identify your trade setup, then open MT4 to execute with full EA/VPS support — using the same XM account for both.

05 — AutomationCan You Automate Trading on XM Using TradingView Alerts?

A common question: can TradingView Pine Script strategies automatically trigger real trades on XM? The short answer is yes — but not natively. Here is how it works.

Method 1 — Native EA on MT4/MT5 (recommended)

The most reliable way to automate XM trading is to use Expert Advisors on MT4 or MT5. Your strategy runs entirely on XM's servers (especially with the free VPS), with no third-party dependency. If you have a TradingView Pine Script strategy, you can convert it to MQL4/MQL5 code using a converter tool or by hiring a programmer.

Method 2 — TradingView Webhook → MT4/MT5 via Bridge

Third-party services like WebhookTrade, AutoView, or similar allow TradingView alerts (triggered by Pine Script conditions) to be forwarded to XM's MT4/MT5 as real trade orders. TradingView strategy alerts can be forwarded to XM MT4/MT5 via webhook services, allowing TradingView Pine Script strategies to trigger real trades on your XM account automatically.

Webhook automation limitations: Third-party webhook bridges are not an official XM feature. They require a separate subscription ($10–$30/month typically), introduce a dependency on the webhook service being online, and add a small delay (typically 100–500ms) between the TradingView alert and trade execution. For latency-sensitive scalping strategies, native MT4 EAs on XM VPS are significantly faster and more reliable.

06 — FAQFrequently Asked Questions — XM TradingView

Yes — in two ways. (1) XM launched a unified trading platform in September 2025 with TradingView charts built directly into the XM web and mobile app. (2) XM is listed as a broker on TradingView.com — you can connect your XM account to tradingview.com and execute trades directly from there. Both are free to use.
Go to tradingview.com → open any chart → click Trading Panel at the bottom → search for XM → click Connect → enter your 8-digit account number, trading password, and server (XMGlobal-Real 1). Your XM balance and positions appear in the panel and you can trade directly from TradingView charts.
Yes. Both options are free with any XM account. XM's built-in TradingView charts are included in the unified platform at no cost. Connecting to TradingView.com also has no fee (standard XM spreads apply to trades). A paid TradingView plan unlocks more indicators and layouts on TradingView.com, but is not required for broker connectivity.
TradingView is better for: chart analysis, community indicators, ease of use, mobile trading, news and calendar. MT4/MT5 is better for: running Expert Advisors, using XM VPS, automated trading, and institutional-style order management. Many traders use both — TradingView to analyze, MT4 to execute automated strategies.
No. Expert Advisors (EAs) are MT4/MT5 programs and cannot run on TradingView. If you want automation with XM: use MT4/MT5 EAs directly (best option, especially with XM Free VPS), or use a third-party webhook bridge to forward TradingView alerts to MT4/MT5 as trades (less reliable, has latency, requires third-party subscription).
Yes. Whether you trade via TradingView.com, XM's built-in platform, or MT4/MT5 — all connect to the same XM trading account. Your balance, open positions, and history are shared across all platforms. You can open a trade on TradingView and close it on MT4, or vice versa.
