01 — What is XM IBWhat is the XM IB Program?

An XM IB (Introducing Broker) is a partner who refers new traders to XM and earns commissions based on the trading volume those traders generate. Unlike a one-time affiliate payment, IB commissions are ongoing — you earn every time your referred clients trade, for as long as they remain active.

✅ Key facts about XM IB Program

  • Commission model: Per lot traded by referred clients
  • Maximum rate: Up to $25 per standard lot
  • Payout frequency: Daily — credited by next business day
  • Sub-IB override: 10% of Sub-IB earnings (multi-tier)
  • Money transfer: Free two-way transfer between IB commission account and trading account
  • Minimum payout: $10

02 — Commission StructureXM IB Commission Levels — How Much Can You Earn?

XM structures IB commissions in 5 levels. As your referred client base grows, you advance to higher levels with better rates:

Silver
$10–$15/lot
🥇
Gold
$15–$18/lot
💎
Platinum

Exact rates per level and instrument vary — confirmed rates are in your XM Partner Portal after approval. Data sourced from public XM partner information.

💡 Earning example — Bronze level

10 active clients, each trading 5 lots/month = 50 lots/month. At $5/lot (mid Bronze): $250/month passive income. At Gold level with same volume: $750–$900/month. This scales linearly with client trading volume.

04 — How to JoinHow to Become an XM IB — Step by Step

1

Open an XM trading account first

You need an active, verified XM trading account to apply for the IB program. If you don't have one yet, register at exem-register.com and complete KYC verification.

2

Apply via XM Partners portal

Go to partners.xm.com or find the Partners section in your Members Area. Fill out the application: your name, contact details, how you plan to refer clients (website, community, social media), and estimated monthly client volume.

💡 Be specific about your marketing approach in the application — XM approves IBs faster if you can show an existing community, trading group, or clear marketing plan.

3

Wait for approval

XM reviews IB applications and typically responds within 1–3 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation when approved with access to your Partner Portal.

4

Get your referral link and materials

After approval, your Partner Portal contains your unique referral link, banners, and landing page materials. Every trader who registers via your link is permanently attributed to you.

5

Share and start earning

Share your referral link via your trading community, YouTube channel, Telegram group, website, or social media. Every lot your referred clients trade earns you commission — credited daily.

05 — Sub-IBXM Sub-IB Program — Earn from Your Sub-Partners

XM allows IBs to build a multi-tier structure. You can recruit other IBs as Sub-IBs — and earn 10% of all commissions your Sub-IBs generate, on top of your own direct client commissions.

⚠️ Sub-IB important notes

  • Sub-IBs must register and be approved by XM separately
  • The 10% override comes from XM's pool — it does not reduce your Sub-IB's earnings
  • XM Partner Portal tracks all Sub-IB activity and commissions in real-time
  • Sub-IB structure allows scaling without direct client management
