The Micro account's defining feature is its lot size — 1 micro lot equals 1,000 currency units, so 1 pip on EUR/USD is worth approximately $0.10 instead of $10. Standard account uses the same spread pricing as Micro but with full-size lots. The key difference: 1 pip on EUR/USD is worth ~$10 on a 1-lot Standard trade. This means position sizing matters significantly — a $500 account trading 1 Standard lot on EUR/USD has 100× more exposure than a $500 account trading 1 Micro lot.
